In a brilliant promotional campaign for his new film, Anchorman 2, Will Farrell donned his Anchorman character Ron Burgundy and sat behind the desk for an entire newscast for local NBC affiliate KXMB in Bismarck, North Dakota.

This is not the first time Farrell has used a seemingly random appearance to spur a viral social media campaign. During the 2012 Superbowl Farrell released this absurdly hilarious television spot for Old Milwaukee beer exclusively in the North Platt, Nebraska market. Brilliant.
