Seaton Hall Hoops Helps Us To Encourage One Another

If you haven’t caught the SportsCenter highlight of Seaton Hall’s upset over UConn yet (see below) you are missing out.  Peter Dill, a little used reserve on the Seaton Hall hoops team, has a knack for his encouraging gestures during games. In this highlight clip, Dill goes crazy from the sidelines and his encouragement actually becomes as important to the team’s victory as the play on the court.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) the Apostle Paul says this:

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

May we strive to be as encouraging to the church body as Peter Dill is to Seaton Hall’s basketball team.

Ryan BurnsJuly 30, 2011I have been an RTS sedntut at their virtual and Orlando campus. Going to RTS is everything I thought going to seminary would be. Having the ability to sit under the teaching of those like John Frame, Simon Kistemaker, Mark Futato, and countless others was amazing. I couldn’t have ask for a better seminary experience.Reply
